Head of Consumer, Food & Drink and Tourism Analysis

Michelle Berman is responsible for BMI's consumer research, bringing together the Food and Drink, Retail and Tourism teams to produce holistic outlooks at the sector, country and global level. Prior to her current role, Michelle launched and managed our Operational Risk product. She has also headed up the company’s Shipping and Freight Transport teams. Based in London, Michelle joined BMI in 2007. Prior to that, she held positions in the financial services sector. Michelle holds a BA from University College London, she also studied at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).
