Egypt’s strained political transition faced another challenge on July 3rd, when the army removed President Mohamed Morsi from office, claiming that his Muslim Brotherhood-led government was incapable of dealing with Egypt’s many political and economic challenges.  As supporters and opponents of the transition clash in Cairo, we discuss Business Monitor International’s political and economic forecasts for the Arab World’s most populous country.
