Ziehm Medical Shanghai (ZMS), a subsidiary of the German mobile C-arm manufacturer, Ziehm Imaging, has opened a branch office in Guangzhou, China. The second office in the country will allow ZMS to further increase Ziehm's brand awareness in the market and serve customers in Southern China with an enhanced product and service offering.
ZMS has experienced rapid growth in the Chinese market over the last few years and has established its brand in the Chinese medical devices market against large competitors, such as Siemens, GE Healthcare and Philips. This success, among others, resulted in a 75 per cent growth rate for the company in 2012.
