News: German auto parts supplier ZF Friedrichshafen will offer driveline and chassis technology and pinpoint steering systems made by ZF Lenksysteme for 172 new public transport vehicles in the Hungarian cities of Budapest and Pécs. Volánbusz Zrt. Transport in Budapest will receive most of the buses, and Tüke Bus in Pécs will take the remainder. ZF's commercial vehicle components will assist in lowering fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions. The transmission systems and low-floor bus axles from ZF will also help to increase cost-effectiveness as well as comfort for the driver and passengers, according to the company.
