Yildiz Sells Yeast Unit For US$220mn

News: Turkish conglomerate Yildiz Holding has entered into an agreement to sell its yeast manufacturing unit Dosu Maya to France-based yeast supplier Le Saffre for a consideration of US$220mn. The company is reportedly planning to increase its focus on developing its consumer brands. Revenues of Yildiz Holding's grew 17-18% in 2012, which was more than the expected revenue growth rates of 13-14%, according to Yildiz Holding's Chairman Murat Ulker.
