Yamana Gold Signs Agreement To Gain 50% Stake In Osisko's Assets

News: Canada-based Osisko Mining has signed an agreement with Canadian mining company Yamana Gold. Under the terms of the agreement, Yamana would acquire a 50% interest in Osisko's mining and exploration assets for CAD441.5mn (US$400.337mn) in cash and 95.7mn common Yamana shares. As part of the agreement, Osisko will retain the operatorship of the Canadian Malartic Mine and all other projects under the guidance of a joint operating committee.
