Volvo Set Up Two New Truck Centres In Iraq

News: Swedish automaker Volvo Trucks has opened two new truck centres in Iraq, in partnership with local manufacturer ZamZam General, reports. Part of Volvo's growth strategy in the Middle East, the new truck centres will be based in Baghdad and Basra, while a third facility planned for Erbil by the end of 2013. The developments are essential to Volvo's plans to achieve 30% market share in the Middle East by 2015. The developments are accompanied by a new truck assembly line in Babylon-Iskandariya.
