Vodafone To Expand 4G Network

News: UK-based telecoms operator Vodafone has disclosed that its 4G LTE service will soon be available in 233 cities and towns throughout the country. The move is in line with the operator's aim of covering 98% of the population by end 2015. The service is scheduled to be launched in Slough, York and Swindon in the coming weeks, with coverage being extended in existing service areas such as Edinburgh and Glasgow, reports Telecompaper. The operator, which launched its 4G network in August 2013, revealed that its 4G subscriber base reached 500,000 on February 17, covering 36% of the population.
