Toyota Rejects Driverless Car Technology

News: Japanese automaker Toyota Motor will not promote autonomous driving systems because of safety concerns. Despite the influx of self-driving vehicle technology, it says it wants the driver to remain the most important decision-maker in the car. Toyota's managing officer for vehicle control systems, Moritaka Yoshida, told Automotive News Europe: 'We believe that it should be the driver that is at the center; the driver should take the initiatives.'
