Telecom Argentina Registers 23.1% Increase In Q114 Revenues

News: Telecom Argentina registered a 23.1% year-on-year (y-o-y) increase in its consolidated revenues to ARS7.47bn (USD989.25mn) in Q114, compared with ARS6.06bn (USD802.52mn) in Q113. Growth was primarily driven by mobile and fixed services sales, which rose by 23.7% y-o-y to ARS5.5bn (USD728.36mn) and 21.6% to ARS1.97bn (USD260.89mn), respectively. The operator's net income increased by 10.8% y-o-y to ARS889mn (USD117.73bn) in the quarter, compared with ARS802mn (USD106.21bn) in Q113.The operator's consolidated operating costs grew by 23% y-o-y to ARS6.1bn (USD807.82mn). Telecom Argentina's mobile subscriber base stood at 22.326mn, up 4.1% y-o-y, as of March 31.
