Submissions Open On Seabed Mining Project

News: The public submissions process has opened for New Zealand-based Trans-Tasman Resources (TTR)'s proposed South Taranaki Bight project offshore Patea, New Zealand. Under the submissions procedure, the public can share comments and concerns about the seabed mining project, which will then be considered by New Zealand's environmental protection authority (EPA). The process was opened after the EPA accepted TTR's application for marine consents to extract iron sands. The public submissions period will close on December 19.
