State Plans To Cut Fixed-Line Rates

News: Israel's Ministry of Communications (MoC) is considering plans to reduce fixed-line interconnection rates to ILS0.0099 (US$0.0027) per minute from the current level of ILS0.0104 (US$0.002) per minute, reports Globes Online. The final rate will be fixed after the Communications Minister, Gilad Erdan, holds discussions with the country's telecoms carriers. The decision over the pricing structure will be taken after comments from the carriers and a correction in the calculation of fixed termination charges.
