Solar Park On Schedule

News: The Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum Solar Park project worth AED12bn (US$3.27bn) at Seih Al-Dahal in Dubai is reported to be on schedule and making steady progress. The project is planned to be completed in phases and will have a capacity to produce 1,000MW of electricity. The first phase, which will generate 13MW of solar energy, is planned for completion by end-2013. The park will also feature a centre for advanced studies and research as well as facilities for students and scientists.
