Smuggled Vehicles Will Not Be Registered, Says NAC

News: The National Automotive Council (NAC) of Nigeria says that buyers of smuggled vehicles will no longer be able to register or license these vehicles. This newly issued order will be effective from June. The new directive, which was revealed by the Director of Policy and Planning Luqman Mamudu, is part of the new National Automotive Industry Development Plan's effort to reduce vehicle smuggling in the country. The move is expected to affect the freight forwarders' main source of income and cause huge lay-off of its workers.
