Renault-Nissan Alliance To Acquire New Distributor

News: The Renault-Nissan Alliance, a joint venture between French automaker Renault and Japanese automaker Nissan Motor, intends to purchase one of Kenya's major auto dealers, reports Business Daily Africa. The acquired dealer will serve as the new distributor of the Nissan and Renault brands in Kenya. Dealers such as Simba Corporation and RMA Kenya have already opened discussions with the Renault-Nissan Alliance to close a franchise and majority equity deal. The move will lead to the replacement of DT Dobie, which has been distributing the Nissan and Renault brands in the country for years.
