News: Indian automaker Tata Motors and French automaker Renault are considering increasing the costs of their products from April, reports PTI. They expect the price hike may help to offset increasing input as well as operational costs. Tata may raise the prices of its commercial vehicles by around 1%. It is also evaluating raising the costs of its passenger vehicles by 1-2%. Renault India Country CEO and Managing Director Sumit Sawhney said: 'The forex situation hasn't stabilised and there is definitely pressure on us and we have to pass it on partially to consumers.' Mahindra & Mahindra and Honda Cars India have already decided to raise the costs of their models from April.
