QF Opens Primary Healthcare Centre

News: Qatar Foundation (QF) opened its new Primary Healthcare Centre for providing healthcare services to its employees and students at Education City in the outskirts of Doha, Qatar, on March 3, reports the Peninsula Qatar. The centre will offer free medical and dental services on both a scheduled and emergency basis to employees and QF students. An ambulance service, run by Qatar's Health, Safety, Security and Environment Directorate, will also be provided to deal with medical emergencies on the QF campus. The Health, Safety, Security and Environment Directorate's Executive Director Sheikha Amal Al Thani said: 'The facility's scope of services includes curative treatment, preventive treatment, emergency treatment, healthy lifestyle programme education, immunisation programmes, diagnoses and treatment of illnesses, dental services, laboratory services, psychological consultations, radiological services and health awareness campaigns', reports The Peninsula.
