PanAust May Bid For Glencore’s Frieda River Project

News: Australian mining company PanAust is reported to be interested in acquiring the Frieda River copper-gold project in Papua New Guinea from Swiss mining company Glencore Xstrata , Energy Business Review reports. Glencore acquired the project through its merger with Swiss miner Xstrata in H113 and is thought to be selling its 82% stake in the project as part of its restructuring plans.
