Pacific Alliance Reports Positive 2012 Trade Results


News: Statistics relating to the Alliance of the Pacific show that trade increased during 2012 following developments in the group ' s energy, mining, agriculture and manufactured goods industries, Bernama reports. The alliance, which is between Latin American countries Chile, Peru, Colombia and Mexico, is reported to have achieved 50% of the continent ' s total foreign trade, with a 2012 export and import value of US556bn and US$551bn , respectively. Analysts have stated that the figures reflect the potential of the alliance.
