Oil Product Theft Costs One Tanker Volume Every Season, Says Inspectorate

News: Victor Zhilin, Business Development Director of inspectorate Bureau Veritas Russia, has said that the scope of stealing oil products from vessels operating on Russia's inland waterways comprise one tanker volume per season, reports PortNews. Zhilin suggested that surveyor's services should not be economised in order to lower the risk of thefts. He also appealed to the law-enforcement authorities to check oil products theft, which has become a well organised criminal business.
