Number Of Inbound Russian Tourists Rises 8% In 2013

News: The Czech Republic saw an 8% year-on-year increase in the number of Russian tourists who visited the country in 2013, to about 750,000, according to data from Mag Consulting. According to the firm, 157 planes from Russia arrived into the country between December 24 and December 31 2013 alone. 'Our survey among the biggest Russian travel agencies shows that if the short-term Schengen visas were abolished or were granted under the same conditions like in Finland, three times more Russian tourists would be coming to [the Czech Republic],' said Jaromír Beránek of Mag Consulting, as reported by eTurboNews.
