Nissin Foods And JKUAT Partnership To Open New Plant

News: Japan-based Nissin Foods has collaborated with Kenya's Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) to open a food processing plant for producing chicken and flavoured noodles and selling them under JKUAT Nissan Foods brand. The factory will see production of 70,000 70g and 72g packets of noodles after the completion. With its growing economy and changing consumer needs, Nissin Foods sees Kenya as a 'promising' market, with great potential in the neighbouring countries as well, according to managing director of Nissin Food Daisuke Okabayashi.
