Nissan Unveils Lannia Concept At Beijing Motor Show

News: Japanese automaker Nissan Motor's chief planning officer Andy Palmer presented the Lannia Concept during the Auto China 2014 in Beijing. The Lannia is expected to be developed into a production vehicle soon. Palmer emphasised that the production edition would focus on the 'Post-'80s' generation in the country made up of 240mn Chinese in their mid-20s to 30s. To target this particular age group, Nissan has assigned its design centre in China to come up with a concept. The automaker has not stated when it would bring a production model to the Chinese market. However, it aims to touch 10% market share in the country, with unit sales of 2mn vehicles, according to Nissan China's chief, Jun Seki.
