News: Cuba's state oil company Cubapetroleo has failed to encounter commercial volumes of oil at the Petronas well in the Gulf of Mexico. The well was jointly drilled by Malaysia's state-owned Petronas and Russia-based Gazprom Neft. The two companies will continue to study information collected during the drilling and plan to carry out further seismic studies.
