News: Taiwan registered a 19.9% year-on-year (y-o-y) rise in new vehicle sales to 36,724 units in May, reports Just-Auto.com. The sales growth was attributed to new models and strong dealer promotional activity. Sales touched 170,365 units in January -May, representing a rise by 13.8%. Hotai Motor registered a 19.3% improvement in sales to 12,518 units in May to claim a market share of more than 34%. Yulon Nissan Motor posted a 21.9% boost in sales to 4,063 cars in May. The company's share of the vehicle market remained above 11%.
