News: A new iron castings moulding line is expected to be constructed at GF Automotive's Singen plant in Germany in 2014. The move comes with an aim of boosting efficiency at the Singen foundry. The new facility, which will help to produce top-quality lightweight components for trucks, is due to begin its operations at the end of 2015. The new moulding line, which represents an investment of EUR55mn (US$75.37mn), will enable the company to considerably decrease the weight of its truck components.
