Mobiltel To Pay EUR30mn To Renew Its Licence

News: Telekom Austria's Bulgarian unit Mobiltel will be required to pay EUR30mn (US$41.39mn) for renewing its license which will expire in June. The license will then be renewed for 10 years. The operator will fund the license fee from its cashflow, according to Telekom Austria Group Chief Financial Officer, Hans Tschuden. Previously, Bulgarian mobile operators had to pay EUR180 (US$248.32) as an administrative fee to renew their licenses.
