Mercedes-Benz’s Sales Rise 27.12% In Q114

News: German premium carmaker Mercedes-Benz registered a 27.12% rise in its sales to 2,554 units in India in Q114, reports the Economic Times. Mercedes Benz India, the carmaker's Indian subsidiary, sold 2,009 units in Q113. The rise was attributed to the carmaker's 'Year of Excellence' strategy, according to Mercedes-Benz India Managing Director and CEO Eberhard Kern. Mercedes-Benz India has seen a rise in demand for its new S-Class, ML-Class and GL-Class. Kern said, 'Additionally, our New Generation Cars portfolio comprising the A-Class and B-Class continues to witness significant demand.'
