Mazda Aims To Register JPY230bn Operating Profit By FY15/16

News: Japanese automaker Mazda Motor aims to increase its annual operating profit to JPY230bn (USD2.3bn) by the financial year ending in March 2016. This comes after the automaker achieved its previous profit target two years early. Mazda also expects to commence discussions with US automaker Ford Motor for the sale of all of its shares in a joint venture that operates an assembly plant in Michigan to Ford.
