Maru-East-1 Well Hits Gas In Guddu Block

News: Pakistan-focused Jura Energy has discovered commercial gas at its Maru East-1 exploration well on the Guddu block in the Central Indus Basin. The well flowed gas at a rate of 84,951mn cubic metres per day (Mcm/d) for a short duration post-stimulation test on 32/64 inch choke. Future production is expected to be entitled to a price of around US$6/MMBtu under the country's Petroleum (Exploration & Production) Policy, 2012.
