MAPFRE Eyes Operating Revenues Of US41mn By 2016

News: Spanish insurance firm MAPFRE Group has forecast operating revenues of EUR30mn (US$41mn) by 2016 with a combined ratio of 96% and steady dividends, according to the company's Chairman and CEO Antonio Huertas. The company is expecting increased revenues on the back of expansion in its activities in the US which includes selling insurance online. The group is also planning to expand its footprint in Europe (excluding Spain), the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and increasing its business volume twofold in the coming five years.
