Mahou-San Miguel Assumes Full Control Of Arian Breweries & Distilleries

News: Spanish beer and wine manufacturer Mahou-San Miguel has acquired the remaining shares of its Indian joint-venture Arian Breweries & Distilleries. The company has held a 50% stake in Arian since 2012, and the acquisition reflects the brewer's plans to expand and boost its presence in international markets. 'We now have the knowledge and experience to take a further step and assume full control of the development of our business in India. Overseas operations will be our main growth lever over the coming years,' said Alberto Rodriguez-Toquero, Mahou-San Miguel's director general, as reported by Just Drinks.
