London Hotel Occupancy Up 1.6% In April

News: Hotels in London, UK, registered a 1.6% rise in occupancy to 83.7% in April, according to preliminary data from STR Global. The average daily rate (ADR) rose 5.3% to GBP136.70 (USD230.38) in the reported period, while revenue per available room (RevPAR) climbed 7.0% to GBP114.45 (USD192.88). Hotel News Resource reports that according to the managing director of STR Global, Elizabeth Winkle, ADR has been the driving force behind the rise in RevPAR since September 2013.
