LNG Terminal Gets Environmental Greenlight

News: Uruguayan environmental authority Dinama has granted approval to Gas Sayago, a joint venture between state-owned companies UTE and Ancap, for construction of the GNL del Plata liquefied natural gas (LNG) regasification terminal offshore Montevideo. In early October 2013 GDF Suez signed a contract with Gas Sayago to build and operate the US$1.13bn project in the Punta Sayago area. The terminal is expected to produce up to 10mn cubic metres per day of regasified natural gas.
