Klaveness Shipping Announces Options For Three Vessels

News: Klaveness Shipping, a unit of Klaveness Ship Holding, has announced options for the construction of three bulk carriers in China. Of the total, one 80,500 deadweight tonne (DWT) combination bulk carrier is scheduled to be built at Zhejiang Ouhua Shipbuilding. The carrier is likely to be delivered in January 2017. The remaining two 82,000DWT Kamsarmaxes will be constructed at Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding. The contract for one of the Kamsarmaxes has been resold by Klaveness to an external party. Under the building programme, the company has a total of eight ships.
