JLR Considers Opening JLR Assembly Plant

News: Indian automaker Tata Motors' British luxury brand Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has hinted at opening an assembly plant in Saudi Arabia. The Chairman of Tata Group, Ratan Tata, has hinted at the possibility of making a business case for a plant in the country. The move comes after Saudi Arabian mining firm Ma'aden, in a joint venture with Alcoa, revealed plans to open an integrated aluminium complex with an investment of US$10.8bn, which would provide competitively priced aluminium for vehicle production.
