Jimbolia-100 Fails To Flow For Gazprom Neft

News: NIS Petrol, a subsidiary of Russia-based Gazprom Neft, has announced that its Jimbolia-100 well onshore Romania has failed to flow oil to surface, according to Romania-focused joint venture partner Zeta Petroleum. Stimulation testing of the second interval at the well only produced gas containing high levels of carbon dioxide. The well encountered four targets between 2,526 and 2,559 metres when drilled to a target depth of 2,590 metres on February 21. As the first and second interval failed to yield any oil, the company has decided to test the two remaining intervals.
