JAL Group’s International Cargo Up 14% In March

News: Japan-based JAL Group has registered an overall 14% year-on-year (y-o-y) rise in international cargo handling to 25,216 tonnes in March. The group handled 3,110 tonnes of international mail in the same period, representing a 25% y-o-y rise. The group recorded a 4.3% rise in domestic cargo to 35,486 tonnes, while its domestic mail tonnage was up 6.2% to 2,537 tonnes. In the year ended March 31, the group handled 269,360 tonnes of international cargo and 32,111 tonnes of international mail, representing a rise of 8.6% and 19.7% respectively (GCTL8).
