Indonesia Has Most Global Cyber-Attack Traffic

News: US-based Akamai Technologies claims Indonesia surpassed China as the number one source of cyber-attack traffic globally in Q213, reports The Register. The company's State of the Internet report revealed Indonesia accounted for 38% of the world's cyber-attack traffic in Q213, compared to 21% reported in Q113. The report further said China dropped by one point to 33% in Q213, while the US showed another decline from 8.3% to 6.9% However, Akamai admitted in the report that online criminals hiding out in Eastern Europe could be using compromised machines in Indonesia for their attacks.
