Health Ministry Urged To Increase Domestic Pharma Production

News: Turkey's deputy health minister Agah Kafkas has urged the health ministry to increase domestic pharmaceutical production in the country as the country is still largely dependent on foreign imports. 'We need to get rid of external dependence in the pharmaceutical industry. We aim to exceed the current account deficit with health tourism,' Kafkas said. The country is undergoing a transformation in health and 75 per cent of citizens are satisfied with healthcare services in the country, Kafkas added.
