Health Ministry Plans To Recruit 9,000 Nurses Per Year

News: The Kenyan health ministry is planning to recruit 9,000 nurses annually to end the scarcity of staff in the country within the next four years, reports allAfrica. Ugandan Health Secretary James Macharia has said that the recruitment of nurses is scheduled to begin in June 2014. There is a shortage of 42,000 nurses and 20,000 doctors in the country.
