Government To Revive Steel Sector

News: The Nigerian federal government has announced plans to open up the steel sector with the intention of achieving the planned steel production of 3mn metric tons annually by 2015, according to the Minister of Mines and Steel Development Musa Sada, reports Steel Guru. The government is also set to resolve the major concerns hindering the operations of Ajaokuta Steel Company and Nigerian Iron Ore Mining Company. The government will also review the mines and steel development roadmap implementation in Abuja.
