Government To Launch Wind Power Project

News: The government of Bolivia will launch a 20MW wind power plant in the department of Cochabamba by 2015, reports SeeNews Renewables. The project will be equipped with seven or eight wind towers. The country launched its first pilot wind power project in Qollpana, Cochabamba, in January. The US$7.6mn Qollpana facility was built by Chinese firm HydroChina. The Qollpana plant generates 3MW of energy per hour.
