Government Plans To Construct Disneyland In Africa

News: The Zimbabwean government intends to spend more than US$300mn on constructing a 'Disneyland in Africa' at Victoria Falls, according to Tourist Minister Walter Mzembi (BBC). The government hope to boost its tourism industry following a decade of conflict and hyperinflation. Zimbabwe's tourism authority said tourist arrivals in the country climbed 17% in Q113. The sector may contribute 15% to GDP if the country remains stable, the authority added.
