Government Extends Talks With Miners Over New Mining Code

News: The Democratic Republic of Congo's government has extended talks with mining companies over proposed tax changes to the week ending March 8. A two-day discussion between government representatives, miners and local people sought to address the administration of mining concessions and industrial policy within a draft mining code. However, the parties failed to reach a consensus regarding the proposed tax changes.
