Geely, Volvo To Start Selling Jointly Developed Vehicles In 2015

News: Geely International , a subsidiary of Chinese automaker Zhejiang Geely Holding Group , will begin selling vehicles jointly developed with Swedish carmaker Volvo Cars in China in 2015. The move comes as Geely aims to build its image as the country's largest auto exporter, and face up to rising competition from foreign brands in the Chinese auto market. Volvo has started test runs at its first factory in China, as it aims to increase sales to 800,000 vehicles by the end of 2020.
