GE Healthcare Partners CTSI To Develop Cancer Care Centres

News: UK-based GE Healthcare has entered a partnership with US-based Cancer Treatment Services International (CTSI), to develop a network of 25 cancer care centres in India within the next five years. The two companies will jointly invest US$120mn to set up the centres through a hub-and-spoke model. The new cancer care centres will provide the latest technology to diagnose and treat cancer, and will comply with the world's top cancer hospitals, CEO GE Healthcare John Dineen announced. CTSI is aiming to expand rapidly in India, as the country is registering a sharp rise in the number of cancer patients every year.
