Gamesa Awarded Brazilian Wind Turbine Contract

News: Spanish wind turbine manufacturer Gamesa has announced that it has been awarded a contract to supply equipment for a new Brazilian wind farm, reports Power-Technology. Gamesa will be responsible for the provision of 210MW of turbines for the Chapada facility in the state of Piaui. The company will also maintain the equipment for a five-year period. Delivery will commence in H115.
