Fonterra Attempts To Suspend Lawsuit

News: New Zealand-based dairy cooperative Fonterra is reportedly attempting to suspend the legal action it is facing from France-based food company Danone over the 2013 botulism scare. Danone had launched a legal bid against Fonterra, accusing it of causing damage to the company. The case is scheduled to be heard in the Auckland High Court in June 2014. Fonterra is already facing a penalty of NZD300,000 (USD256,737) over its handling of last year's botulism scare by a court in New Zealand this year.
