Ferrous Scrap Exports Drop In August 2013


News: According to statistics from Japan ' s Ministry of Finance, ferrous scrap exports from the country in August 2013 were down 11.6% year-on-year to 643,000 tonnes, reports Steel Guru. South Korea was the primary destination for these exports, followed by China, Vietnam and then Taiwan. In January-August 2013 Japan ' s ferrous scrap exports totalled 6mn tonnes, an 8.4% increase compared to the same period of the previous year.
